LAS VEGAS – Retail-oriented manufacturers are already vying for providers’ attentions in preparation for Medtrade Spring 2015 in Las Vegas. One way to make that happen is by winning an Innovative HME Retail Product Award. The biannual awards, sponsored by HomeCare Magazine, will once again make their return to Medtrade Spring, scheduled for March 30-April 1 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center.
Now a fixture at every Medtrade and Medtrade Spring, the purpose of the competition is to once again promote and recognize products that contribute to providers’ bottom lines though cash sales.
A retail panel discussion, The Best New Retail/Cash Opportunities (with Jim Greatorex, pictured), is scheduled for Tuesday, March 31, from 1:30 to 3:00. During the panel discussion, reps from ten finalist companies will get a chance to present their products and answer questions from judges and the audience.
“In an effort to make the awards even more exciting, attendees at The Best New Retail/Cash Opportunities will have the opportunity to cast their vote for the best retail products,” says Kevin Gaffney, group show director, Medtrade. “Ten finalists will be selected by our judges to compete at the show—during the session. After the session, votes from attendees and judges will be tabulated. Three winners will be crowned and announced on April 1.”
Past winners agree that taking home an award makes an impact on their business. “Winning the award dramatically effected our business and sales,” says Steve Goelman, CEO, Unique Wellness. “For
starters the exposure was phenomenal and many who came by our booth
congratulated us and wanted to hear more about our products and how they
can boost cash sales. The result was many strong leads that
