Medtrade 2017 Call for Presentations – Coming Soon

March 13, 2017

ATLANTA – Yet another eventful year in the HME industry comes to a head on Oct 23, 2017, when Medtrade kicks off in Atlanta at the Georgia World Congress Center. The nation’s premiere HME-focused event is scheduled for Oct 23-26, a four-day event that is designed to foster unity during a year that just may turn out to be a rebound for the industry.

Do you have an idea for a conference session at Medtrade? If so, the official “call for presentations” is coming soon. Consider this an advance warning. While many of the familiar experts will be sharing plenty of wisdom, the Medtrade educational advisory board (EAB) is also on the lookout for HME providers to share their stories.

“Providers are looking for more stories about other providers’ successes and failures,” says Anna McDevitt, CEO, Laboratory Tactical Consulting, and an EAB member. “Providers want to speak with other providers and figure things out. We want to include that in the educational content of the show, and we are looking for providers who are willing to share their stories.”

“Medtrade always has the best speakers in the industry,” says Kevin Gaffney, group show director, Medtrade. “And while it’s true that we will certainly have a lot of familiar faces presenting at Medtrade, it’s also true that we are on the lookout for new blood, so feel free to pass along our advance ‘Call for Presentations’ to suitable candidates.”

Look for additional details, guidelines, and links to applications in future issues of Medtrade Monday.
