ANAHEIM, CA – MK Battery has appointed Bret Tracy (pictured) as its new national sales director. Tracy, who is an ATP (assistive technology professional, joined the company in 2012 as associate director of HME Business following an extensive sales and sales management career in the mobility industry.
“His knowledge and insight into the HME market has been a key factor in helping MK and our customers navigate the challenges our industry faces today,” said David Brunelle, vice President of Sales at MK Battery. “He was an integral part of the MK team that participated at this year’s CELA event in Washington D.C., focusing on creating a separate benefit for Complex Rehab Technology within the Medicare system. He also sits on the AAHomecare State Leader Council board representing the CAMPS, NAMPS and AZMESA state associations.”
With Tracy at the helm, MK Battery plans to continue its ardent support of Medtrade (Booth #2323 at this year’s show) and industry legislative issues. “Over the past several years, our Power for Funding initiatives have helped raise awareness and prompted more providers to get involved on the legislative front,” says Tracy. “This year, we hope to showcase the sport of Power Soccer at Medtrade, with an exhibition by the United States Power Soccer Association. As the ‘official battery’ of this organization, we are working hard to increase national exposure for the sport in hopes of one day elevating it to the Paralympic stage.”
