ORLANDO, FL – The industry is filled with a whole lot of questions, but four days in Orlando, Fla, can provide the answers. The dates are Oct 7-10 this year for Medtrade, the nation’s largest home medical equipment (HME) expo and conference in the United States.
This year’s Medtrade home is the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) in the heart of Downtown Orange County, just minutes from the Orlando International Airport, and close to a lot of hotels. There is plenty of dining in the convention center, and those who wish can easily walk to additional dining.
The 6 – 4 – 18 series, which translates to Six building blocks for success in the next eighteen months. “These six sessions are designed to help providers gain vital information and assist help them in developing new or improved business practices to use for survival, and ultimately success, as they begin to navigate the rough waters of the competitive bidding program,” says Kevin Gaffney, group show director, Medtrade. “Providers may choose to attend other excellent sessions, and that is fine. However, for those specifically concerned with success and survival as it relates to competitive bidding, the 6 – 4 – 18 sessions are an excellent choice.”
The six sessions will cover: effective collections; purchasing and cash flow management; reducing risk; diversification and operational efficiencies; mergers and acquisitions; and transformation in business. These are all included with the conference pass.
