Medtrade Spring Has Sprung

March 10, 2014

LAS VEGAS – In-depth workshops began this morning at day one of Medtrade Spring, with educational sessions scheduled to begin at 1:00 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.

For those still pondering attendance to the Expo (March 11 and March 12), walk-up registration is featuring a “special discount” on Expo Floor passes. Mention you learned about the “special discount” in Medtrade Monday, and you will have access to the Expo Floor, open from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, and 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

If you can get to Las Vegas today or tomorrow, but you’re still on the fence, John Gallagher has a word of advice. “I strongly suggest you jump off the fence and make the trip to Las Vegas,” says Gallagher, vice president, Government Relations, VGM & Associates, Waterloo, Iowa. “Yes, it is an investment of time and money, but the knowledge, ideas, networking, and inspiration you gain could make a huge impact on your business. Now is not the time to stay hunkered down in your office. There is strength in numbers, and Medtrade Spring is the place to bring it all together.”

“It’s our job to fashion the best possible show that we can,” says Kevin Gaffney, group show director, Medtrade. “But we can’t help if you’re not here. There’s still time to make your plans, get out of the office, and join us in Las Vegas. Registration is in the Bayside B Hall at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.”

Exhibitors large and small are on site now prepping for the opening of the exhibit hall on Tuesday, March 11, from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., and 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12.

Exhibitors such as Golden Technologies (Booth #319) is one of hundreds of exhibitors looking to meet with motivated providers. “Golden Technologies has been exhibiting at Medtrade Spring for many years,” says Patricia O’Brien, director of Marketing and Merchandising for Old Forge, Pa-based Golden Technologies. “We believe it’s an important show, because only a small percentage of dealers who attend Medtrade in the Fall also attend Medtrade Spring in Las Vegas. This is our opportunity to get our team, products, and programs in front of the Western DME dealers who may not travel to Medtrade [Atlanta].”

Kevin Trenga, director, North American Marketing, Domtar Personal Care, Greenville, NC, is making the cross country trip because he believes that his Attends product (Booth #443) can help providers achieve better outcomes, more satisfied customers, and improved profitability. “Attends can help dealers find new opportunities to diversify and increase profit while exceeding their customers’ expectations with incontinence products that fit properly, are highly absorbent, and help maintain healthy skin,” says Trenga. “Dealers choose Attends for Medicaid, managed care and private pay customers with needs that are unmet by traditional retail offerings.
