SAN DIEGO – ResMed (Booth #527 at Medtrade Spring) has acquired Jaysec, a provider of Internet-based software solutions for the HME industry. Headquartered in Knoxville, Tenn, Jaysec’s products help HME providers resupply their patients and communicate with referring medical providers.
“Jaysec’s products streamline key HME business practices such as resupply, allowing home medical equipment providers to focus on delivering quality care for their patients,” said Raj Sodhi, president of ResMed’s Healthcare Informatics Global Business Unit. “Acquiring Jaysec furthers our commitment to helping HMEs drive business efficiencies while delivering positive patient outcomes. We’re excited to bring Jaysec into the ResMed fold, and we look forward to supporting existing and new customers alike.”
Jaysec offers GoJaysec, an automated resupply solution that uses interactive voice, text and secured email communications to direct patients to a self-serve portal for easy authorization of HME resupplies, including CPAP masks and accessories. This targeted, periodic communication automates the resupply process. The portal offers a cost effective solution while reducing the administrative burden for the HME.
TIMS HME Enhanced Integration with CollectPlus©
BILLINGS, MT – With the latest release of TIMS, Medtrade Spring exhibitor Computers Unlimited (CU) has enhanced integration with COLLECTPlus© , the billing and collection service powered by A/R Allegiance Group, LLC (ARA).
The COLLECTPlus© program will better automate many of the billing and collections features TIMS users are already familiar with. “We’ve had a long-term relationship with A/R Allegiance but saw the need to complete certain aspects of our integration with COLLECTPlus. The latest release of TIMS accomplishes that and more,” says David Schaer, President, CU (Booth #811 at Medtrade Spring). “This integration includes added features, i.e. auto posting payments, dashboard sign-on, and enhanced statement design available to TIMS users at no additional cost.”
“COLLECTPlus includes every conceivable task related to billing and collections, combining them into one single-sourced dashboard. This completely automated process is transparent, highlighting where, when, and how your money is being collected…and at what cost,” says Keith Lilek, CEO, ARA. “The COLLECTPlus© methodology is so uniquely designed that we are thrilled that CU has chosen to integrate it into their programming. It’s an exciting time for TIMS users.”
