ATLANTA – CareCredit is a familiar exhibitor at Medtrade, and this year the 30-year-old company will make its presence even more well known when the show convenes Oct 15-17, 2018, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. Specifically, the CareCredit logo will appear on the complimentary canvas bags that make it so convenient to haul around show materials.
The logo will also appear on floor decals, all in an effort to spread awareness about the company’s services, which range from a private label credit card (for patients) to billing services for DME providers.
“We did the same thing at Medtrade Spring 2018 [Las Vegas] and it was great to see everyone walking around with the logo,” says Susan Elzinga, client marketing manager, CareCredit, Costa Mesa, California. “We like the brand visibility, which also tends to generate word of mouth. People came to our booth mentioning that they’d seen the logo on the bag and wanted to know more.”
CareCredit has largely made its mark serving dentists, chiropractors, and veterinarians, and is now making steady inroads into the DME market. “For more than 30 years, CareCredit has been providing a valuable financing option for treatments and procedures that typically are not covered by insurance, or for times when insurance doesn’t cover the full amount,” Elzinga says. “CareCredit is also used by cardholders to pay for deductibles and co-payments. Providers at Medtrade can see how DME patients may use CareCredit to buy equipment, and they may also want to explore our billing services.”
